Mylar3 is an automated comic book downloader and manager that monitors Usenet and torrent indexers. It uses ComicVine for metadata and integrates with SABnzbd, NZBGet, and other download clients.

Run Mylar3 in Even

Even Stacks launches Mylar3 as a managed container on your own machine. No compose files, no manual setup.

Open the Even Stacks panel in Even. The container engine starts on demand.
Find Mylar3 in the one-click services and click Launch.
Even pulls the image, starts it on port 8104, and serves it over trusted HTTPS at https://mylar3.localhost.

Drive Mylar3 with your AI agents

Even ships an MCP, so any agent you run inside Even (Claude Code, Codex, and more) can operate Mylar3 directly, at both the UI level and the container level.

Through the Even MCP an agent can open the web UI in Even's browser pane and click through setup, add libraries, or change settings. It runs commands inside the container, reads its logs, and for web apps opens and clicks through the interface in Even's own browser pane. Ask once, for example "set up Mylar3 and get it ready", and the agent handles it end to end.

How agents reach it: Open http://localhost:8104, then go to Settings to add your ComicVine API key and configure a download client before searching for content. Search for and add comics via the web UI; config is stored in /config and downloaded comics are placed in the /comics volume.
