VictoriaMetrics in one click.

VictoriaMetrics is a fast, cost-effective prometheus-compatible tsdb you can run on your own machine. Launch it in Even Stacks in one click, serve it over trusted HTTPS, and let your AI agents operate it.

What is VictoriaMetrics?

VictoriaMetrics is a fast, resource-efficient time-series database compatible with the Prometheus remote write protocol and PromQL. It achieves high compression ratios and can ingest millions of data points per second on a single node.

Run VictoriaMetrics in Even

Even Stacks launches VictoriaMetrics as a managed container on your own machine. No compose files, no manual setup.

  1. Open the Even Stacks panel in Even. The container engine starts on demand.
  2. Find VictoriaMetrics in the one-click services and click Launch.
  3. Even pulls the image, starts it on port 8429, and serves it over trusted HTTPS at https://victoria-metrics.localhost.

Drive VictoriaMetrics with your AI agents

Even ships an MCP, so any agent you run inside Even (Claude Code, Codex, and more) can operate VictoriaMetrics directly, at both the UI level and the container level.

Through the Even MCP an agent can open its dashboards in the browser pane, read the metrics, and set up alerts. It runs commands inside the container, reads its logs, and for web apps opens and clicks through the interface in Even's own browser pane. Ask once, for example "set up VictoriaMetrics and get it ready", and the agent handles it end to end.

How agents reach it: Write metrics via POST to /api/v1/write (Prometheus remote_write) or /influx/api/v2/write (InfluxDB line protocol). Query with PromQL at /api/v1/query or use the built-in vmui at http://localhost:8429/vmui. Data is stored in /storage.
