What is RedisInsight?

RedisInsight is the official GUI client for Redis that allows browsing keys, running commands, and visualizing data structures. It includes a profiler, slow log viewer, and built-in CLI.

Run RedisInsight in Even

Even Stacks launches RedisInsight as a managed container on your own machine. No compose files, no manual setup.

Open the Even Stacks panel in Even. The container engine starts on demand.
Find RedisInsight in the one-click services and click Launch.
Even pulls the image, starts it on port 5540, and serves it over trusted HTTPS at https://redisinsight.localhost.

Drive RedisInsight with your AI agents

Even ships an MCP, so any agent you run inside Even (Claude Code, Codex, and more) can operate RedisInsight directly, at both the UI level and the container level.

Through the Even MCP an agent can run commands inside it, drive its UI in the browser pane, and read its logs. It runs commands inside the container, reads its logs, and for web apps opens and clicks through the interface in Even's own browser pane. Ask once, for example "set up RedisInsight and get it ready", and the agent handles it end to end.

How agents reach it: Open http://localhost:5540 and click Add Redis Database, entering the host, port, and password of your Redis instance. RedisInsight is a pure UI layer with no data of its own. Use it to browse keys, run CLI commands, and profile queries.
